The algorithms for Muse-O-Matic are written in
KeyKit,
a programming language
language designed specifically for manipulating MIDI data,
written by
Tim Thompson.
The algorithms are completely deterministic - enter the same word and you'll
get the same music. In algorithm A, longer words produce longer music. In
algorithm B, the music is always the same length.
